ABOUT ME

I think Peter Pan really had it right when he said 'Nah I'm good' to growing up.

After spending 22 years in Arizona I packed my bags and moved to New York City. With an air mattress to sleep on, $679 in my pocket, and absolutely no job leads I have somehow made a life for myself in this crazy beautiful place. I'm closing in on another year completed here, and remain humbled by the opportunities that I have had in both the people I've met and the places I've been able to go.

The past few years I've been working at a Health-tech startup. However this has not taken away from my true passion which is found in the arts. I grew up a classical violinist and have a deep passion for music, photography, writing, cooking, and all things creative.

My goal in this blog is to share stories of my experiences and help other's like myself who are struggling with new found adulthood to feel a little less alone. Life is chaotic, and scary, and funny, and incredible. I hope you'll join me in finding the humor in the mundane, beauty in the simple things, and love in everything you do.
